Sales Manager Industry (veneer products)

In your role, you will help our client become the dominant supplier of various veneer products to the European industrial market.

The challenge

In your role, you will help our client become the dominant supplier of various veneer products to the European industrial market. You will be responsible for analyzing and mapping out industries in the EU that work with veneer by identifying sub-segments (e.g. kitchen, acoustics, yacht building, ), and estimating the potential market size and demanded products and services. Based on the analysis, you will create a European Industry strategy, prospecting for new industrial customers, but also maintaining and optimizing our existing industrial key accounts.

You will work closely with internal teams such as internal sales, marketing and product development, and will help develop and launch products and services that meet the needs of our customers and partners for whom you will ensure that we deliver excellent customer service and build long-term relationships.

You will report the Sales Director Europe.

The profile

Your commercial insight and entrepreneurial mindset will allow you to make the right choices and put market ideas into practice. You make data-driven decisions autonomously but also enjoy being challenged and stretched by your colleagues. You love to explore new opportunities and challenge your colleagues to do the same. You possess a hunter mentality and are willing to travel up to 50% of your time in Europe. Aside from traveling, you connect to our Sales teams in Menen at least twice a month. You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English.

Knowledge of veneer, (interior) building materials, and processing machinery is a huge plus.
